It was launched in 2006 by the Saatchi Gallery in London so it’s certainly been around for a while. Who? Royal Horticultural Society What? The Royal Horticultural Society will be presenting the 100th Chelsea Flower Show this year. The ever popular horticultural exhibition will include photographic exhibition, expert talks, Centenary opera and of course the show’s staple – the gardens. This year’s gardens include Spectacular Floral Pavilion, The Evolving Garden, Show Gardens, Fresh Gardens, Artisan Gardens, Generation Gardens, Revisit London 2012 and Artisan Retreats. Bo London is the first restaurant outside of Hong Kong for Alvin Leung, the chef/patron of the two Michelin starred Bo Innovation. The Mill Street site, based in the heart of Mayfair, reportedly costed Leung £1m to lease and fit. Wood reclaimed from renovations of the Bo London site has been fitted to one of the two semi-private dining rooms. The wood is protected behind glass made to the same shade as Leung’s glasses. Instead of an image of Alvin Leung, like outside Bo Innovation, Bo London has one of Leung’s hand holding his custom made knife. There are two kitchens. Who? Galvin at Windows What? After seven years overlooking the capital in London’s plush Mayfair, Galvin at Windows still has one of the best views in the city. Showing no sign of tiredness as the Michelin-starred restaurant and bar had a £500K revamp that finished last year. But of course, it’s the food that you really visit the restaurant for. Who? McLean’s Artist Malts What? McLean’s Artist Malts have just launched with a brand new range of rare whiskies. Limited to 35 bottles per release, each release includes artwork by two artists. Their inaugural edition is a Bunnahabhain single malt Scotch whisky, distilled on 28th April 1979 and bottled 1st May 2012, in collaboration with Charles Avery and Rose Wylie.
