Apple Wine Festival in Frankfurt

What? The city of Frankfurt is once again ready to host its annual Apple Wine Festival. During the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to try different kinds of apple wine, enjoy traditional music and see performances of poetry. There are also fringe events surrounding the festival including the Apple Wine Express.

    Who? Canvas Bar What? Canvas Bar has a sort of late night vibe. Perhaps it’s the dim lighting and pumping music, which surprisingly allows conversations.     Napoleon Tinqueux festival in Reims

History buffs should head to Tinqueux this April where, to mark the 200th Anniversary of Napoleon’s French campaign in 1814, the city is hosting re-enactments of the Battle of Reims. During the two day festival, there will be a torchlight procession, parade, brass band, sound and light show as well as the re-enactment itself.
