Who? The Mince Pie Project What? Charity auction, The Mince Pie Project, is returning again this year with proceeds going to Galvin’s Chance and Crisis. Michel Roux Jr, Raymond Blanc, Marcus Wareing and Clare Smyth are all taking part and will each be baking a unique batch of 50 mince pies to be auctioned. When? Who? Syngenta Photography Award What? Head now to Somerset House to see the entries for this year’s Syngenta Photography Award, the theme of which is Scarcity-Waste. Photographers and amateurs all over the world have been invited to submit their entry to the award, which seeks to stimulate dialogue around key, global challenges. Who? London Design Festival What? The London Design Festival is returning to the capital this September with over 300 separate events, true to its theme of “Design is Everywhere”. This year’s landmark project is the Endless Stair, which will be exhibiting outside of the Tate Modern. There are also smaller partner projects showcasing a mix of product and conceptual designs.
