What? The Jumeirah hotel group has recently announced the return of their celebrated Restaurant Week. This year, over 60 restaurants will be taking part. Taking place in Jumeirah properties around the world, the week long event will see special menus being introduced in the hotel restaurants where guests are able to dine at a set price.

Where Chefs Eat is a directory of over 2,000 restaurants as recommended by over 400 of the world’s best chefs. There are recommendations are geographically arranged by continent: Oceania, Asia, Europe, Africa and North and South America, all mapped. There are also two indexes to help you navigate the book, by restaurant name or by recommendation type. For 26 selected cities, there are more detailed maps indicating the locations of the restaurants and in effect, turning the book into a local restaurant guide. Who? City of Tinqueux What? History buffs should head to Tinqueux this April where, to mark the 200th Anniversary of Napoleon’s French campaign in 1814, the city is hosting re-enactments of the Battle of Reims. During the two day festival, there will be a torchlight procession, parade, brass band, sound and light show as well as the re-enactment itself. Who? USS Mohawk What? Dive enthusiasts should not miss the first underwater exhibition at USS Mohawk which is available via diving only. The USS Mohawk is a 165-foot World War II cutter, which was sunk in July 2012 just off Sanibel Island in the Gulf of Mexico.
