What? The Wine & Spirit Education Trust is hosting “Twelve Wines of Christmas” tasting event to prepare for the festive season. Guests will sample 12 festive wines, paired with traditional seasonal foods such as smoked salmon, turkey and cheese. Tickets are priced at £30.

When? 6.30pm to 8.30pm, 27th November

    Who? Sake No Hana What? To celebrate spring and the cherry blossom season, Japanese restaurant Sake No Hana has turned its bar into a pop-up cherry blossom garden entitled Sukura at Sake No Hana. Guests can enjoy cherry-themed cocktails and teas, surrounded by cherry blossoms, as well as sukura inspired bento boxes and desserts. At lunch on the 26th of April, guests can also take part in Kagami Biraki where sake barrels and broken with a wooden mallet and sake is served in the traditional way. When?     BrewDog opens Florence outpost

    Who? BrewDog What? Scotland’s largest independent brewery BrewDog has recently opened the doors to their Florence outpost. This marks the first craft beer bar in Italy and is the brewery’s fourth international launch this year. The new bar has capacity for 70 people and will have 12 beers on tap, including guest beers.     Who? Veuve Clicquot What? Veuve Clicquot has recently launched Rich, a new Champagne designed for mixology. The rich refers to the historically sweeter wines from the Champagne region. As well as a higher dosage for added sweetness, the Champagne also benefits from a tailored blend of grapes.
