The recently opened equestrian themed bar, brain child of James Chase and Dominic Jacobs, will be serving up a selection of juleps in pewter tins as well as regular changing bar bites.

Who? London Design Museum What? The latest exhibition to arrive at the London Design museum is one centred around the work of Louis Kahn. Featuring a diverse display of Kahn’s models, sketches, photos and original drawing, the exhibition gives an insight to why Kahn is considered a master of twentieth century architecture. The exhibition touches on his influential and particular style and includes unseen footage filmed by Kahn’s son Nathaniel. When? 9th July to 12th October Where? Who? The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant What? The Rib Room has recently launched a cigar and spirit pairing menu. A selection of fine spirits have been chosen by the Head Sommelier Louis Gordon to match cigars from the restaurant’s humidor. Pairings include Cohiba Maduro Genios with Zacapa 23 Year Old rum and Padron 1964 Anniversary Series Torpedo with Johnnie Walker Double Black. Prices vary and are separate for cigar and spirit. When? Single malt whisky aficionados, and particularly those who are fans of The Glenlivet, should take note as the first of the Winchester Collection finally makes it onto the shelves. The new collection, named after The Glenlivet’s Master Distiller Alan Winchester, will be a series of exclusive 50 year old single malt whiskies for the true connoisseur. The first release, Vintage 1964 is limited to just 100 individually numbered bottles. “Bottle No. 1”, priced at £17,995, has been on sale in Harrods since October but the exquisite whisky is also due to be made available elsewhere.
