What? The Chelsea Art Fair is returning for the 17th time with contemporary pieces ranging from £500 to £20,000. The fair will showcase artists’ highlights from galleries around the UK and Ireland, which won’t be on view at any other London shows. Tickets are £6.

Who? Galvin at Windows What? After seven years overlooking the capital in London’s plush Mayfair, Galvin at Windows still has one of the best views in the city. Showing no sign of tiredness as the Michelin-starred restaurant and bar had a £500K revamp that finished last year. But of course, it’s the food that you really visit the restaurant for. Who? Maslenitsa Festival What? Maslenitsa Festival, the week long celebration of Russian culture, is returning to London again this year with various events around the city. Who? City of Avignon What? The Luminessences d’Avignon is returning to the city once again for its annual installation celebrating the papal heritage of the region. The venue is the largest gothic palace in the Europe and was built in only twenty years under the reign of two Popes. As one of the two Papal seats, the palace was home to seven Popes and two schismatic Popes. For the duration of the installation, the historic Honour Courtyard at The Palace of the Popes will be transformed intothe canvas for a stunning sound and light show. It was launched in 2006 by the Saatchi Gallery in London so it’s certainly been around for a while. Who? Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) What? Each year, film lovers flock to Reykjavik for its International Film Festival. The 10 day even features a mix of films and documentaries, shown in unexpected locations. Expect to be surprised in a swimming pool, at the director’s house or inside a volcanic lava cave. Who? Parc de la Villette What? There’s nothing quite so chic and Parisian as an outdoor cinema in the park in the summer.
