What? World’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna and organised by UK-based Restaurant Magazine, has last night announced the world’s best restaurants for 2013. The award is now in its 11th year, with restaurants voted for by over 900 chairs and judges around the world.

    Bo London is the first restaurant outside of Hong Kong for Alvin Leung, the chef/patron of the two Michelin starred Bo Innovation. The Mill Street site, based in the heart of Mayfair, reportedly costed Leung £1m to lease and fit. Wood reclaimed from renovations of the Bo London site has been fitted to one of the two semi-private dining rooms. The wood is protected behind glass made to the same shade as Leung’s glasses.     Who? Sake No Hana What? To celebrate spring and the cherry blossom season, Japanese restaurant Sake No Hana has turned its bar into a pop-up cherry blossom garden entitled Sukura at Sake No Hana. Guests can enjoy cherry-themed cocktails and teas, surrounded by cherry blossoms, as well as sukura inspired bento boxes and desserts.
